I know that sounds humorous, but the truth is that being a human pretzel willing to bend every which way to make others comfortable wore me out. I was going through a difficult divorce and had stage 3c ovarian cancer to boot.

Still, I didn’t change.

I didn’t want to let my Pilates & yoga students down, so I went back to work only 2 weeks post major abdominal surgery, with an ileostomy bag no less! I wasn’t respecting or honoring my body’s need to rest. I was sabotaging my own health and crossing my boundaries and didn’t even give it a second thought.

It wasn’t until I hit rock bottom that I searched for the help I needed.
