I was interviewed by Tony Robbins!

“When you change someone else’s life, you change yours, too.”
— Tony Robbins, #1 New York Times Best-Selling Author, Life And Business Strategist, Philanthropist, Entrepreneur

It felt surreal when I was chosen as a real life hero to share my story and be interviewed by the Tony Robbins team! This is the universe doing her magic.

And, I’m sharing this piece of big news because I want to celebrate this milestone with you!

I am so grateful for your support and encouragement you’ve given me as I’ve struggled to recover and rebuild my life. This is something that we can be proud of as a community!

My story is really not about a cancer diagnosis. It’s much bigger than that. My story is about the life I’ve lived not feeling like “I matter”. In fact, someone very close to me told me that my story didn’t matter. They said, “Nobody cares that you had cancer as a kid and nobody cares that your dad committed suicide.”

It was like a knife in my heart. The one person who I thought loved me didn’t understand me. So, I shut down. I became resentful, angry and sad. I felt so alone.

My story matters and so does yours. Your story is who you are. A lot of of the thoughts that create your story were formed a long time ago. Most of them are not even the truth, but you began to believe these false thoughts or what others said to you. Things like, “Nobody cares about your story”.

If you don’t like the story that you’re currently living, you can change it! That’s what I did.

You don’t have to stay stuck in that negative story any longer–you can choose to replace it with one that empowers and inspires you.

If I can turn my life around, change my story and rewire my brain… so can you. I want to help you.

I’d love for you to listen to this podcast episode where you will hear parts of my story. If you feel inspired by it and want help learning the tools that I used to get OUT of my negative story and to create the life I wanted, I would love to support you. It’s possible for you!

In this podcast, you’ll also learn more about Kris Carr, the best-selling author of Crazy Sexy Cancer, who was diagnosed with a rare and incurable Stage 4 cancer when she was 31 years old.

Kris wrote the foreword to my book, Reclaim Your Strength and Hope: Exercises for Cancer Core Recovery. I feel uplifted by her every time I hear her speak! She’s a true inspiration for me in my personal life and in my work.

As you’ll see in this episode, Kris’ battle with cancer was not just a physical one. The emotional journey she took was remarkable, and you’ll hear how she learned how to not let her diagnosis define her. She changed her story, and thus changed her life.

After Tony Robbins interviews one of his clients, you’ll hear about how I started the Cancer Core Recovery Project (in particular, my “movement as medicine” philosophy), and find out how I’ve been helping those who do not have access to education and healing techniques.

Are wondering how you can help cancer survivors live a more joyful, higher-quality life?
